I shot this picture with the dot in the top-right corner of the frame.

The white halo is stronger on the bottom left of the dot than the top right.

Normal corner distortion. Look for problems, you will find them. Even where none exist.

submerge in in deionized water for 30 minutes mounted to the camera but without a battery. Then let airdry in the freezer for 36 hours and then microwave it for 12 minutes.

I think that might fix it....

...this is really a joke please don't do that.


My entire hobby of gear lust has temporarily been shifted into overload. Please be patient while my mind tries to get back onto the road to recovery. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause....

The only reason I checked is because it fell forward pretty hard on my tripod twice (on the head, the tripod didn't fall).

I don't see a difference between the white areas. You might be due for an astigmatism check.
