I need a place where I can simply upload full res files and my clients/family can click and order photos.
I want a place where I can set prices so that I do NOT make money off them and simply get my clients/family the lowest pricing possible.

My website is through Squarespace but I may cancel if I find somewhere good enough to host a site that has this feature.
Sadly squarespace does not.
I would ideally like something cheap.

I think the few I saw, besides shootproof, were like $25-30 a month for galleries like this.

What are some of the best quality ones I can use?
or my best options.

I honestly have never printed my work in the 5 years of shooting photos so I'm kinda lost haha
The site/gallery will literally be for nothing more than ordering prints.

I tried Smugmug for a year, though did not sell photos. It was $60 a year for my service. Think it would have been $100 or $120 to setup to sell.
It was fairly easy to use, but I did need tech help a few times and they were helpful.

I think another popular one is Zenfolio.

I've since got my own domain name with godaddy, went with the 10 yr deal, much cheaper.
Setup my own site using software called Serif Webplus 8. They also have a very helpful forum.
Though I still do not sell, you can setup your own commerce through Paypal using the software.

eHost is my webhost, but will try hosting from a member on this site when my service with eHost expires.

Here is a link to the member here that host websites.

I've been using Zenfolio for several years and I've been pretty happy with it overall.

Smugmug is now $48 or $72 a year. You can probably get by with the $48 version. The $72 version only lets you use a custom domain name and do some custom programming of the look and feel. You can build a very functional and good looking site without custom programming.

Both let people order prints at the base cost, no profit to you. You have to move up to the $150 or $300 plan to go commercial, set prices and make profits.

yeah I'd prolly just use the site as a gallery separately.
48 a year isn't bad but how many photos can be uploaded at once?

shootproof looked nice and was like 1500 photos for $10 a month but the print prices seemed crazy high?

No limit on the number of photos for any plan, including the $48 version. Uploading is done via a browser, simple and fast. As fast as your connection. I don't think there is any limit on the number of photos uploaded at one time. The most I've done is about 300.

Print prices are cheap, 5X7 = $0.79, 8X10 = $1.99. Of course you have to pay shipping and wait several days for the mail to arrive. Better to download and print at your local Costco.
