Updated, current gear collection with complete collection

top: nikon 600
mid: rok 14 , rok 24, sony 24-240, cy zeiss 100-300, cy zeiss 35-70, 135 art, om 200
bottom: sigma 50 macro, sony 85, sony 12-24 + a7r, voigtlander 35 ultron + a7rii, zony 35 + a7ii, sony 50, om 24

I could make space for 24-70+70-200 f2.8, but the urge is not very strong right now.

used the bastard child EOS-M to take the photo, and noticed that the camera is pretty busted up, one of my kids must have dropped it or something.....

similar size, a little sharper and a whole lot wider. 77mm filter trick gives you the ability to do LE starting from 14-16mm depending on how thin your filter is. It does 12mm better than any prime I know, so that made it a no brainer, for me, since I was shooting 12/10mm ever since I went to sony. I gave up the CV 10 + 16-35 for it, dont regret the decision for a second. It simplifies what I carry and I dont mind going from 12-24 straight to 35 or even 50mm, however I dont use it much outside of landscapes.

Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

In case anyone is interested, you can get DxO OpticsPro 11 for free. I believe it's the most current version however it's their Essential Edition, not the Elite. I compared the two and Essentials is very feature rich.

Thinking of trying to use my A7R2 on a spotting scope besides the connection I'd have to figure out some form of support for the camera. If this is really too silly I'd just opt for using my iPhone via an adapter. I'm only looking for record shots when birding not high art -?

First hurdle is the T mount adapter which fits the Opticron eyepiece adapter

The first question: is Sony NEX E-Mount (excuse my parochial ignorance ;-)a
If it is, I think I'd be shooting in APS-C mode too.

Just received this Zeiss 16-70 in the mail. Super excited, got it used from FM and can't wait to start shooting with it.

Congrats! please post some shots. I'm considering an all purpose zoom. It's the 16-7- or 18-105.

Will do! I seriously considered the 18-105 but the weight (15 oz) turned me off.

Earlier this evening, these light rays spilled into in my family room from our windows. Everything was soft and glowy. I bet our lucky plant was loving it.

Very nice. Any space like that in my house seems to be filled with toys! How do you manage it? :D

This was the backdrop for a portrait session last night. I really wish that Camry weren't parked out front, but I went ahead and photographed the house anyway because it looks so cool
