May be a matter of taste but I think this "wide open" shot is too blurry. if a lens is fast it is not compulsory to shoot at the widest aperture... :)

With that back-round, wide open isn't even needed as there's nothing distracting back there to blur out. I bet it would look cooler though if it was more side lit with more contrast and a very dark back-round

actually that was someone else' head in the background in the corner so i'd say it's kinda distracting :p

probably should've clarified this was a quick snap taken inside a small cafe while catching up with friends lol
