I picked up this lens over the weekend! Still getting used to it. I'm a little unsure about the extra settings ('dynamic', etc.) afforded by the docking station--should I purchase it to enable them? Or are they enabled by default? :-)

Welcome to the club, you won't regret it! Personally I noticed little difference between any of the modes afforded by the docking station but if you want to try them out for yourself it is a necessity. Unless, of course, you can blag/borrow/rent the use of one from someone in your vicinity. Most of the time I have it all switched off!

Dynamic made a difference for me (well, perceived anyways), but I shoot mainly motorsports.

I haven't used my Canon 1Dx and the Sigma for months and I was thinking I'd sell it all soon and just concentrate on the m4/3 stuff. Anyway, took it out to the park yesterday and the light improved. Think I may keep it after all.

Thanks! So far, the only thing I'm jealous for is automatic sensor cleaning. So many spots...
