Hah I'd love to hit a real track one day. My extent of "fun" these days is trying to keep my 10 year old beater running...which is requiring more and more work.

Hey speaking of Les Mans, if you haven't seen that Le Mans documentary on Amazon video, check it out. Really cool...plus its in 4k HDR

that is where I am now...my 10 year old car quite going to the track a couple years ago...just trying to decide what to do with it now.

I have not seen that, but will check it out..bunch of flights coming up...need some good watching material.

Thanks Vinz. Here's a smoke pattern that's a bit more "smokin' hot" I think. ;-)a

The smoke design is 100% natural with no manipulation on my part.

 It says "And Brody Hamel" in the lower right. It was his suggestion we take the smoke images and we used his camera/lens. We used my off camera flash and I did the editing so it was a collaboration to be sure.

I probably should have done the sig like this one.

Lunch.

When Harvey hit Houston, people criticized the city for its lack of zoning. But the upside to that lack of zoning is that we don't have the hard segregation of neighborhoods that other cities have. There's a lot of good in that, one of the benefits being that legit tacos are always a short drive away.

Nothing fancy set-up wise. Grabbed the RX1rII real quick and shot with window light. My plate is crooked, but I was hungry!

Hey guys, I've been busy working on images for my architect client so I've had no time to shoot. Still, I have been lurking in the shadows enjoying everyone's images posted here recently. Keep up the good work.

Great idea, thanks. I just may try to incorporate that smoke into a whisky & cigar shot sometime soon. ;-)a

i'm too late to do that. my wedding on an awesome church is this friday. why i never thought about that. lol

Carlo, when shooting e-front curtain shut., we'll get 14-bit right? it's still loud though for a church. I tested a few shots with silent shooting and you're right, you really can't tell the difference.

Except for a bit of misalignment on the far mountain range on the right, I think it looks great. I love how the low lying fog makes it appear that the dunes are floating in the air.
