Got the chance to buy a used 1Dx with 168k shutter activations, shows some signs of wear and tear but nothing major. Would 168k be of concern ?

It's just getting broke in for use. :lol: The shutter is rated for 350 or 400k. I know folks with nearly 500k on their 1dx. Go out and enjoy it. The camera is a beast!

Evening all

Well I’m now the proud owner of a used 1dx, what a beast of a camera. Been away from photography for a while so have a massive learning curve to catch up on.
Firstly a big thank you to David Stallard for taking the time to share his set up for motorsports photography. I’m trying to set up the C1 , C2 and C3 to cover the main types of photography I like to do. So I now have C1 set up. Is there anyone happy to share their custom settings for landscape and wildlife so I can save these settings to my camera and give me a head start.

Looking forward to getting out this weekend and firing off some shots at Brands Hatch British Superbikes
