This is excellent! You decluttered the surrounding foreground nicely. Also love the texture you applied and your processing.

Thanks very much. This was taken in mid Nov. Lack of crowds helped me isolate it, I guess. Appreciate the good notes. :-)

Nice shot -- I especially like the bench. But . . .

A lighthouse on a lake in Oklahoma?!?
Is that a functioning lighthouse? There has to be a story here. What is it?

This article explains it well. In short it was built mainly for aesthetics but it is equipped with a beacon light to mark the entrance of the marina so it is considered a proper lighthouse.

And it looks a "proper lighthouse." Nice shot. :-)

Souter Lighthouse in Whitburn, Sunderland, England. Souter had a charity awareness night for as part of "Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness". The local event has been organised by the 4Louis charity, which was set up by Wearside mum Kirsty McGurrell after the tragic stillbirth of her son Louis. The lighthouse was lit up to mark the worldwide event of all families who have had to go through this devastating period within their lives, and i went along to show support for all my family and friends who have had to go through this tough time.

The clouds were'nt very kind on the photography side of things so i had to make do with what was showing. although very cloudy it does give alittle atmospheric look over the lighthouse.

Thinking of everyone worldwide on this sad time of the year and my thoughts are with you all. Sleep tight little ones...

MY Setup:
Canon 7D MK II, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L, Canon EF 70-300mm F/ 4-5.6 IS USM, Canon 50mm F/1.8 II, Canon EF S 10-22mm F/3.5--4.5 USM

Heceta Head Lighthouse near Florence OR. We sat hoping for the sun to break under the clouds and boy did it ever.

Samsung S8 Plus Pano in Raw, lightly edited in LR and CS6

2nd, we pulled off on 101 and caught the lighthouse and caretakers residence in beautiful light

Same evening or different? You covered some ground from the ridge behind to the point to the south for the second view...
