or me...I would fly out for it...LOL...

my only experience with Fuji files was after Petit this week, a friend shoots with one, and I wanted to see what his files looked liked SOOC...his were very flat.

I don’t even edit my Fuji files as they are spot on straight off the bat and I end up just using the camera jpegs. Flat is not a word I would use to describe them. I need to put a lot more work into my a7rii files to get them to pop. The Sony IQ is noticeable though and is definitely superior

I am wrapping up some images for a local architect firm. They designed and built this enclosure connecting two buildings of the church.

Loxia 21 and Batis 18mm:

Flat colors?
You guys know I'm limited in my faculties in all of this but doesn't raw no matter the brand let you
do what ever you want in color?
I say that and think back to my old Minolta 400 APO and the color it gave to the image.

On Fuji I've always found their cameras so very interesting but never took a plunge. Poof just
said 'what? another camera' when she discovered the RX10iv is in the works, so I just think at
my age I'll just stick with Sony and Oly now.

Yeah that was the point I was trying to make though k may not have made it well. I can get the colors to match between the two different cameras, but I'm struggling a bit with the Canon colors because I'm not used to them any more. Therefore Canon colors suck!

Really its not that one cameras colors are better than the other, but rather that we're accustomed to the SOOC of one system and anything different from what we're accustomed to is automatically "bad".

it very well could have been the lens he was using then...the colors of the race cars were just muted and flat...when I get home I will post one...

I am out of new stuff other than race cars...postponed/might cancel my fall color trip...JTNP in November can't get here soon enough!

So this is an old one...finally put it up on Flickr...a vertical comp from Roan and that crazy sunset.

^Robert, how close is that to full frame? That lens is incredibly sharp...considering taking one to JTNP in the event that we happen onto some wild life...

Travis, I'm thinking you're asking how much I cropped?
If so I was close, filled the frame with approx 50% with the bird.....using the blind out back.
