6D won't let me change aperture in manual mode

My 6D won't let me change my aperture when in manual mode. It shows an L when I try. Any ideas?

Chuckle-out-loud. Someone else had a Lightrules moment the other day/week, but I wasn't going to bring that up again. But I guess, if we are still using that....
