That I often have.... and I have a hoodman thingie. I guess I could try it. As you said.. it's easy to do. I didn't think I'd be able to see the results on the tiny screen.

maybe live view and the 10x zoom.. unless the 1Div does not have that ??

Thank you. I actually used center point focus on the branch just to the right of its feet.

Nice job getting focus through all the foreground twigs. Manual focus? The lighting looks like it could have been difficult too.

It has it, I think... I've never used it. I'll have to check out the manual. ;)

Edit: I just checked... it doesn't look like I have a 10X option like the 7d2 does. I can shoot in live view however...

When are you changing your name to 'Captain O?'

Why do you think I should do that?

I am actually very happy with Charles

..... or were you referring to Inspeqtor?

I am also quite happy with that as well!

On Saturday we went to San Luis National Wildlife Refuge. As we were driving my wife told me to stop and back up. She said "I think I saw an owl".

This is the same owl as the first picture. After we stopped I got a couple frames in the tree and then he was nice enough to move to this log so that I'd have a clear shot.
