Really nice Eddie. That's the beauty of this kind of photography...the image can be anything the viewer imagines it to be.

Yes, and like photographing water drops, every one is different

PBR on my BAR

Here's one more shot of the bottle of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, this time on my bar. As well as my bar lights, I used a snooted flash behind and below the bottle to light the interior of the bottle then placed two strip boxes horizontally in the front, far left and right.

This is also a composition of two shots blended, one taken at f2.8 for the background and the other at f5.6 for the bottle.

We were lucky to have had 2 full days at Great Dunes Nat. Park and Preserve....and saw it in all kinds of light.
I think I've related to you guys that my first time there with a NEX-5 was my drug into digital photography.

Looking forward to getting my newest lens later this week: the Voigtlander 65mm. :) NOT looking forward to having to let go my sweet little FE 55mm. :(

However, the spacing of my prime kit is going to be fantastic - near ideal - with the addition of the new lens. Each subsequent lens is reasonably close to double the focal length of the next widest lens: 12mm, 21mm, 35mm, 65mm, 135mm.

Beautiful place. I'd like to go there next year. I've camped on the East side of the range (Alvarado campground near Westcliffe), but would love to stay a week in the National Park. The Sangre de Cristo Range is unique and beautiful.

Those little dogs are super-cute...darn shame that they carry the plague.

Amazing how sharp the 100-400mm stays even with a 2x!! I don't think the Canon 100-400mm could hold up to that. Heck, the older EF 500mm f/4L IS USM (sharp lens) that I owned didn't look that good with a 2x mounted.
