Just got back from Kauai. While I think no one can do the island justice by camera, I had fun taking pictures from the boat trips and helicopter rides.

Very nice! The Na Pali coast is awesome, just wish I'd had the stomach to enjoy my helicopter ride...-?

I download the Capture One Pro trial and was doing some comparisons with LR. I can save $9000 by just cropping more.

Do you find Capture One to be better at noise reduction than Adobe stuff? I am considering spreading my little post-processing wings some more...

You say no one can do it justice, but I think you've done a great job! Beautiful pics!

Thanks...it really is a stunning place for photography but the weather can change in 5 minutes so I had to learn to accept Mother Nature as she was.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Agree. My experience with this lens and the 5D IV is that it's noticeably sharper than with the 7D II.

Cool shots.... whenever I think of AZ I think of that Movie U-Turn with Billy Bob filmed in Superior!!! Creepy town, but it does have some cool rocks the serve as a nice backdrop @ sunset.

Maybe I'll go back down there now that they've removed all those speed cameras

Last year I upgraded from a 70D and 7D2 to a 5D4 and 1DX2. I didn't have any full-frame experience before that. However, with the bodies I have now, I'm definitely getting the best images I've ever taken. The two are different beasts for sure, but I'm really happy with both of them.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.
