Hey there, Mr. Threadstarter... :-)

Yeah, the aspen leaves have all turned and dropped. It's already snowed a few times.

But any time of year is nice around here.

Stopping by for a brew?

The view from our deck, it is our self made pond and stream. It is 18ft x 26ft with a 19ft stream.

Not the best images per se, but interesting. This is the view of the front of our house before and after hurricane Irma swept through in September.

Doesn't look too bad. Any damage to the house?

We are about 20 miles north of you, winds were at about 85 when it went through here. Never even lost power....I was really surprised. No damage other than a lot of leaves, pine needles, general debris.

No damage to the house in spite of the broken tree that fell on the garage. Same as most. Debris and limbs down all over. Lost power for about 20 hours. We lucked out when the storm turned in eastward at Naples.

I may just stop by as a surprise.

I have set up airfare alert for a visit to CO next year to see wild flowers. Depending on where I go that could be between April and July. Trying my best to make it happen. Enough talk about wanting to visit CO.

A self made pond? Really! I like it with miniature waterfalls and what looks like a water wheel next to the tree.

Yes sir, I made it myself. It took about 100 man hours to do. Here is the album on flickr showing a few of the build process. https://www.flickr.com …/albums/72157634025922619 (external link)

The wheel against the tree is just a wagon wheel. The waterfalls come from the 19ft stream.
