Love this! Great job.

Thanks!

Excellent. Love the POV and the s-curve of the track. B&W lends even more drama.

Thanks David, there are several ways to shoot that corner, and then different ways to shoot different types of car...this car is tiny in comparison to most race cars, and it worked best to show the track in the distance, larger cars block that out, so it was cool to see that here.

This is really an amazing shot. I love how the background ties in yet isnt there..... really cool

Thanks, gotta love 200mm and f/2.8! Only mistake I made was not bumping the ISO up a bit to get into the 1/2000 shutter speed range...I did that later...gonna go dig through them to find some different stuff...when messing with the crop of this, I found some little detailed closeups that could be pretty cool....means i have more pictures to edit now...I was running out of stuff...well, shareable...

And back to a mediocre shot from me... :-)

I found this small Craftsman Utility Knife in my driveway a long time ago. I have no idea how it got there but I never found anything of mine damaged by it.

Hint, my sig is in a different place on this image. It doesn't show up quite as well as I'd like at this resolution...oh well.

I should have left space between the text and the border but I was trying different techniques and the font was a solid to begin with.

Wild idea....

I used the loaner 100STF last night(shot above) and i'm in love with how much faster it focuses compared to the 85GM. Now that I'm back with strobe, the other side of my brain is telling me to trade the 85GM to the 100STF.

Testing bokeh difference in a bit. the juror.

Maybe it's time to give Capture1 Pro another look. It can integrate with Media Pro SE to meet our digital asset management requirements. Does C1 support presets?

I'm interested in seeing your results.

I've also been thinking of the A mount 135 STF, since eye focus works with the a9 now.

Yaschica is making a camera....it uses digital film....basically little fake rolls of film with different settings...i.e. there's a different roll for each ISO and different aspect ratios....there's and a B&W roll. Oh and you have to wind it too....

The CV 65mm got delivered yesterday evening. Too bad I don't have any time for it until I start my camping trip on Sunday. Looking forward to using the lens a lot over the next week or two in Tennessee.

I did take some quick garbage flower shots, just to get a quick glimpse. It's a super-sharp lens. I wish I could show all the detail, but the sRGB conversion destroyed is destructive. I recovered as best I could.

I wish I could do that mediocre. You're so humble but I know how much skill/talent it takes to pull that off.
Like Travis' sports car pic; these aren't snapshots :)
