Gene in UK I think [actual or virtual] defacing a coin of the “Realm” at least means incarceration for an indefinite period in the Tower of London but with the wrong judge it could involve being “Hung Drawn & Quartered” :!:

For those of you that use the peak design loops (not sure the correct name) and keep one attached to the bottom corner of your L bracket, it’s worth having a check of the condition. I checked mine there and it seems the sharp edge of the bracket has worn the loop and the yellow warning is now showing. This wasn’t noticeable until i untied it

That has been seen before and is the one thing that keeps me from using their system. Glad you found it before something fell.

The petting zoo also had these characters--we didn't pet them.

The one on the proper strap lug is fine, same on my X100T strap lugs. It just seems to be the one on the L bracket as it’s got a sharp edge

Carlo...I was trying to update FW on the a9...to test eye AF with the 135...but I can't get the FW app to make a connection to the camera...not sure why, never had an issue with the A7R2...it doesn't seem to want to connect. It just keeps looping in this never ending attempt.

Another shot from the river last weekend. This <$200 E 50/1.8 is great deal for APS-c shooters.

Bigger (and better) version on FM. Full res on Flickr.

It looks like you have one of the original loops, the newer ones have a red chord inside to let you know to stop using it. The new ones are far stronger and I believe if you get in touch with Peak Design they'll send some new ones, I may be wrong though, but worth a shot!

Refining the edge of my old (I've had it for 30 years) Chinese cleaver. I still have a bit to go but it's getting there.

Got to photograph my niece this past weekend, she wanted some maternity photos. Too bad her husband had to work! This is one of my fav’s though there were so many. She is such a trooper! Up before daylight to get to the beach.

Cory that's a good size for here, even with the size limitations. Love the shot=the bokeh'ed river is really nice and color us jealous on the colors you're enjoying and captured--we're still
muted yellow and seriously dull browns here.
