Gene forgot to ask, when using Preserve Details 2 feature in PS CC 2018, that is when I'm resizing the image correct?

Yep, exactly. I've only tried it this one time so far so I don't know how well it stands up to other images but I thought it did a pretty good job maintaining detail in the craters.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention I used what's known as a "Male Converter Threaded Screw Adapter Spigot Stud" like the ones linked below. I have a couple from other lighting kits such as umbrella brackets.

https://www.amazon.com …_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail (external link)

Here's the plate, the snoot, an adjustable bracket and one of the studs I used. The adjustable bracket was to give me some clearance between the plate and snoot. The bracket is from an LED light panel I have for video. I've also used it to add light on my hummingbird feeder when shooting stills.

Thanks gene, I may have to pick one of these up. A few times now I’ve wanted to place a light lower than the light stand allows and ended up haven’t to prop it up

I think I've figured out how to recreate Nik's ProContrast filter but it involves working with luminosity masks to target the midtones to add some dynamic contrast. An action can probably be created but I would recommend using one of the luminosity panels such as Lumenzia, TKActions, or Raya Pro to recreate the look.

Interested!! I have raya pro

So LR did something weird last night...didn't notice until today...I made a set of contact sheets for a client of the edited JPEG images for signoff...emailed the contact sheets, no problem. Then today I go to upload those files to Dropbox to email them the link...that folder is empty...all of the JPEG's are gone...not in the recycle bin...just gone...

Lowest price for the A7RII. Hint for a new model coming anytime soon?

I hope so too. Above 3500, my GAS is gone. Thank you Sony for pricing the A9 $4500, lol

I am less worried about an A7R3, as I am about an A73 being a great camera that can do sports for less than $3k...I love the a9, but I would be tempted to go to something less expensive to free up some room for glass...

I shot my first homecoming group yesterday...poor timing by the person organizing it meant that instead of an hour to work with a group of ten, I had 30 minutes...so I had to improvise and shoot fast, the a9 helped with that, this shot in particular, of the group walking down the street...I had a lot of choices to find the one I liked the most.

The light was not the best, but it worked.

Yeah I have a feeling that I'll have a bit of a9 buyers remorse on the 25th...mostly due to the cost of the a9. I've done a lot of jobs that the a9 really came in handy with so it was worth it, but if something more responsive than the a7rII had been released earlier this year I would have gotten that instead. It was a timing issue more than anything.

pretty much the same logic here...I don't see myself really letting go of the a9...I really do enjoy working with it.
