With the SR app going away in the new a7RIII, it looks like someone over on FM has created a script for MAC users that "takes multiple RAW exposures and averages them so you can do the equivalent of Smooth Reflections outside the camera." It's possible someone could make a Lightroom plugin based on that script. Then you feed it your RAW images and out comes a stacked/average file. I'm in no rush to get the a7RIII after thinking about it. The initial excitement regarding the new camera has waned and I'm quite happy with my a7RII including its support for apps.http://www.fredmiranda.com …pic/1514495/0#lastmessage
you can do this in photoshop, but it's hell. As slow as the app is, it's infinitely better than trying to do in post. I can see why sony doesnt want to support apps, do it right or not at all sorta thing. PP SR is not going to fly, not a big deal for me since I intend to keep the A7rii, but one day, I may not....
petition sony over this crap, cant take away the goods.
