Fall color is finally starting to pop here in the smoky mountains and I was lucky enough to catch some snow to go with it

I was just up there, got caught on top of the ridge in Wears Valley when that snow happened, had to stay an extra day. 441 was closed when I left yesterday, I saw a couple scenes along the Little River like what you have here, very nice work!

Shot this last night. My wife with our horse Valor and they just wrapped up a ride together. New to using the 70-200 but love the creamy background at 2.8...wow!

Good thing we got the patio stuff put away last week! We got a little snow last winter, but none the two winters before that. We might get some more Sunday morning.

Works best for me in monochrome ... by a good margin.

I just started to experiment with that. I looked for a WA lens but it is more gear to tote around when travelling. Nice image. Gonna keep working at it.

Thank you. I've had a nodal bar and leveling base for quite sometime although more often than not I don't use it unless I'm shooting 35mm or less. I find that 50 and up you don't need it for most shots. I've been doing more of it lately trying to get a fresh perspective on some subjects. Lr does a really good job with stitching as long as you give it enough overlap and keep things relatively level.
