Whitewater canoeing and canoe slalom is an exciting and visually stimulating sport - I hope you enjoy the pics and can contribute pictures of your own.

I really like the overhead shot as its perspective make it really interesting. Focus and exposure look spot on as well. The second one, while a decent image, doesn't do much for me. If you aren't shooting head on to capture the face, then I'd want more drama in the story (like was there an impending drop or curl that was about to swallow the paddler?). With the rig partially out of the image and some exposure issues, I'm not sure I'd keep this one. If you do, I'd crop vertically (probably 8x10) then do a pseudo HDR to retain your water exposure but bring up the paddler and boat levels and color. Just my two cents....
