My favorite portrait from a series of 8. This couple were at the Route 91 concert shooting. Nicholas dived on top of his girlfriend when the shooting started, when he was on top of her he got shot in the lung saving her life. This was the last of all the portraits I had done and I was amazed at their resilience and bravery. Going into the portrait I knew it was going to be difficult to pose them but they were awesome. I wanted her laying on his chest, right where his lung is. As you can see in the pic she still wears the wristband from that horrible night in Vegas. They're both 16.

Spent yesterday morning in a blind, I used both my 5DIV and my 7Dii during the morning. In the earliest morning hours, though, the 5DIV is just amazing.

We did have a little more snow yesterday morning. Here are a few backyard shots.

Yeah I knew you were in that general area. I got snowed in up on the ridge overlooking Wears Valley that weekend. Pretty amazing as it was only raining about 300 ft. down from where I was. Colors were pretty darn good over that weekend, although you can't see a lot of it in that shot.

I just started to experiment with that. I looked for a WA lens but it is more gear to tote around when travelling. Nice image. Gonna keep working at it.

This was my second attempt. 5 frames, hand held. Amazing software. I had to straighten a few images a little before running it through. Next time I'm taking the polarizer off and using manual exposure. I'll be definitely doing this more when we travel.

When I got into real estate I had a good macro rail I converted to compensate for parallax. I had to for 360 degree panos. I sold all my macro stuff. I guess the more do at the shoot the less you have to crop out around the edges.

Spotted in my back yard by my prey.. this camera and lens combo is just amazing me every day I use it.
