Was on a ghost tour in Virginia City, NV. Wasn't using a flash and the shot was completely backlit, their faces were in complete shadow. so I had to Raise the shadows a lot. after doing so the luminescence appeared on my wife's neck. Never seen that raising shadows before. Probably flare but...we were on a ghost tour.

Decades ago a woman took her camera in for a shutter repair. They noticed some pin holes in the bellows & replaced that, too.
She returned & complained that they had destroyed her camera because it would no longer take "ghost pictures"! ; D

My prison has had the reputation of being.....well, having presence.

Many people have shot pictures of questionable things there over the years, most of which were clearly faked. But there have been quite a few that were difficult to explain. In fact there was a video that scared the pants off me.

I shot this of a newly renovated hallway leading up to the central guard room. The haze at the end of the hall was not there when I took this. I dunno........I just shoot.

What is a C-17 doing in the middle of the People Republic of China? I suppose it could be a Y-20...or the aliens are disguising their ships better.

The hazes and circles here didn't exist in reality. I was facing about due south. Sun was 3 or 4 hours from setting in the southwest. No PP. Images taken at slightly different angles came out normal.

A very bright part of the picture has produced a ghost exactly opposite the center of the photo. This is typical behavior of a lens fitted with a filter. In your case the ghost seems actually more diffuse than one would expect from a flat filter, so apparently it is just caused by the glass in the lens.

I took this shot, and later looked it and to this day, I still have a hard time putting it all together. Just an odd shot, but strangely interesting, at least to me .

I was shooting in the Cleveland Metroparks around Wallace Lake in Berea, Ohio when somebody pointed this out:

Nobody could identify it. It's not a dog or a squirrel.

When I got home, I did some research and apparently there are otters returning to Ohio, and with a range far enough north take them here.

As our family was all accounted for. Always wondered who appeared. We've all seen the pic, and notice the figure right away.
