One should really learn their new camera before using it....... I formatted over my New Orleans photos vmad

I am loving the A9 and really loving the A9 / A7r2 combo. I ended up pulling out the 55mm more than ever and really loved having the 10mm and 21 on each body switching back and forth when needed.... letting the A7r2 sit on the tripod getting the detail and letting the A9 use its great ISO depth to be handheld. Feeling better about the kit although the 90 macro is now sitting in the bag a lot not sure but maybe I need to dump it.

Nightmare about formatting the photos. With regards to a9/a7rii the more I think about it the more I am talking myself into that combo further down the road when the a9 price drops further (a lot further!). A9 with fast af, amazing eye af and smaller files for family/people stuff and my a7rii for landscape stuff and to keep a second lens on for switching back and forward. The main thing putting me off is the different batteries and the need to take 2 chargers everywhere

great shots bro. on the first image, i would try to recover the highlights for her dress, it's a bit too bright and became an eye magnet. other than that, all are awesome. great choice of location too.

The AF-tracking ability of the RX10iv is uncanny. It is very very a9 like. I don't think my 1DXii could have done this, and this is one of 5 or 6 where
the bierd is still in focus despite the brack, bramble, and branches; I was tracking 1-1.5 seconds before the hawk got behind the clutter-

No you were at toadstools which is between Knaub and Page. These are just north of page by Big Water its a 4.3 mile hike in...... but If you are a law breaker like me you take the BLM administrative road (I may or may not have) and then it is a 3/4 mile hike

I know some of you use Peak Design gear, so I'll just post it here. I'm not a fan of kickstarter anymore, but it's Peak Design and I trust this seller. I just ordered the Capture V3. :)

I'm game for the smaller, smoother capture clips!

They look less like weapons too, which is nice. I've been questioned a bunch of times by security at the airport, stadiums, theme parks etc etc.

I’ve been meaning to buy a PD capture clip but not got round to it. Think I’ll jump on this for the V3. I like the fact the baseplate is arca Swiss compatible

Yep I'm upgrading my capture to 3 as well....smaller, lighter, all metal.

That’s me pledged for the capture v3. I vowed never to use Kickstarter again but trust PD so made the exception

I gave the FE 16-35 GM a good workout today shooting a commercial building for a few hours. We will see how well it performed. Having a zoom at this range was so helpful. I mostly used 16, 18, and 20mm but also used 28mm and 35mm on occasion. I also used my CV12mm for two exterior shots since the light was nicer today than yesterday.
