Farther down the trail I found Cut One, Plant One
Artist: Nic Noblique

This piece was purchased from the artist and installed in 2013. This artwork reflects the Town’s and AAF’s commitment to sustainability.
And another sculpture at the end of the trail Folded Square Alphabet Letter D
Artist: Fletcher Benton

Along with Loop the Loop, this piece was recovered and restored by AAF in 2012 after being decommissioned by an office complex. This artwork is part of the artist’s well-known “Folded Square” alphabet sculpture series. The installation was completed in 2012.

Two more for today. I haven't shot all of the public art in Addison, so I'm planing to return. That city has a lot to offer; it's a wonderful residential place with top notch restaurants and trails, museums etc.
Just a nice playground, a small section really with built in barbecues and other things.
On my way back, I saw an interesting water tower with some wind turbines on top. Not sure what function they have but I will research the subject and will tell you about it.

Thank you, Clare.
I have to admit that I'm very fortunate to have them so close to where I live.

One of the US Nifties again.
We went back to Addison, a paradise for public art and not only; it's a wonderful residential place with lovely restaurants, cafes, bistros, parks and whatever else. I wish I could live there. So European! I would need to win major a prize in a lottery, though; trouble is I can't afford to play. So, a little catch 22 :)
Anyway, here are some lovely public art pieces etc.
Both are panoramas stitched of 4 and 6 images.
The weather was extremely dull and awful; I did a sky replacement on one of them but not very successfully.
There is a whole lot more which I am in the middle of processing. Will post more tomorrow :)

As some of you probably know Addison is home to Mary Kay's (external link) headquarters.
This is the building on the outside, a 16 image panorama and a shot of the brand name.
