A jewel that I just stumbled into recently. Bluesy jazzy zydeco funky New Orleans tunes.

We need to revive this thread. Starting off the morning with a special Procol Harum release titled The One and Only One. It's a 7" transparent disc recorded live on their 2017 UK tour. Four tracks - Conquistador, Cerdes, Last Chance Motel and The Only One.

The most "fabulous" blend of Argentine Pop with 1980's Ska. Tell me they weren't made to go together!

I've had this one in circulation since the 80's, never saw the video before googling it today though lol :)

At the moment I'm using a Kenwood KA-5700 integrated amp, Oppo BDP-103 digital player, Music Hall mmm-1.5 turntable and a pair of Klipsch Heresy III speakers. Will be swapping the KA-5700 out for a fully restored KA-7100 in a few days. For cartridges I rotate a Ortofon 2m Red and a Sumiko Pearl in and out of service depending on mood and what I'm listening to.

Just replaced the meter lights in the KA-5700 this morning. Went with a moody kinda blue over the normal white (looks like funky purple in the photo though). A full restore will begin on this amp once the KA-7100 arrives.

Just getting back into vinyl after a lifetime away.

Speaking of the Kenwood SA-7100 - it has arrived and sounds better than it looks. It is a very good day!

Santana Abraxas, quite the discovery for a 10 year old boy in 1970. At 58 I'm still fascinated with this album, even if it a Sundazed reissue.

HEYi REMEMBER sitting and groovivg to Santana at a rock festival back in the '60s! Carlos was great!

Over the past few days, I switch to my library with a couple hundred cds and over 2,000 songs, and hey, talk about Classic Rock/ MEMORIES!!!

Mine too, followed by Mambo Sinuendo and his live recording with Corridos Famosos. Can't forget about his work with Beuna Vista Social Club either.

I think I have at least a dozen Ry Cooder albums... plus the John Hiatt ones where he was the guitarist... along with Terry Evans... he's something else.

Bring the Family is another great album where he does some amazing work. (John Hiatt album)
