He's stalking her and I'm stalking them. If I don't spook her, he doesn't care about me.

.
What I really like about this one is the out-of-focus vegetation across the bottom of the frame.........it provides an aesthetic that is much more appealing than it would be if it was just the in-focus grass all the way down to the bottom edge. . It does a nice job of anchoring the composition.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks, I couldn't seem to get these two into a spot that photographed well. This was the best I came up.

So often, this has to do with topography.

When deer (or other critters) are on ground that is concave, it is usually difficult to get a good image, no matter where you position yourself.

When they are on ground that is convex, it is usually possible to get a very pleasing background by moving around until you find the right angle. An example of this can be seen here:

Nice examples! I was above those two for quite a while just waiting for them to come up the hill so I could get a good shot (with a nice oak tree and some sky), but the doe spooked and started going down into the canyon. I took my shots and left them alone for the rest of the day. No great shots, but they were fun to watch.

A few images from this morning. No sign of Big Boy though, but I did see two 8 ptrs walking around together and what appears to be a 6 pointer.
