From a somewhat sketchy website, no less. Disregard. Nothing to see here but maybe Space Whales.

Nice one....

I spent a few hours in the back garden tonight waiting for the mist and cloud to break to grab a super moon shot...

While waiting for the mist to clear I took a few practice shots and inadvertently bagged a plane just about to cross in front of the moon!!... this was pure fluke as I live no where near an airport... just disappointed I hadn't waited a second or so later to hit the shutter...

Patience (mostly) paid off in the end with the mist 'thinning' and the cloud clearing a bit... managed to grab a few shots in the gaps...

Just wish the first shot was a little bit better... ah well :D

Got this one tonight. Two planes in two nights. I missed one earlier that was cruising, and didn't see it in time. Got this one shortly after takeoff.

I did not get my best results tonight as I had thin clouds blocking my view of the moon.

Not quite as sharp as i wish it could have been, but I have had worse.
