T-Wasp- I like everything about B&W image 2, but I can't get past the distraction of the cage wire on shot 1. If he was in front of, or leaning on the wire, I think it's a better shot.

I agree. Also if he was standing back from the grid and it was out of focus that might have the same effect of him being caged but not as distracting.
