If it were for the architect, and it was for portfolio, clone it out...but if it is for the owner of the building, and they are planning to use the images to market the space, I would leave it. You are presenting the space as is...

Great job on the sky replacement, I would not have known had you not said it.

I agree. If these are for an architectural firm then junk like thermostats, etc. can be good (maybe even important) to clone away because they distract from the message they want to communicate as designers. I always clone out that stuff in my architectural work.

If it’s for a developer, re, building owner, then it may be critical to leave them in as they wouldn’t want to portray the building falsely to a prospective tenant.

I am still working through images from a shoot of two model homes...some of them have been very labor intensive and just tonight I figured out why...I have been fighting colors casts that were really making edits hard, and I think it is from the Nana Wall Operable Window panel, they were tinted, and it was throwing off the natural light through the windows horribly...this is the first image from the patio area, and I was able to edit it in one image, no window pulls...just one file...I should have opened up the Nana Wall for the rest of the images...

...Some barrel distortion at 16mm required some additional corrections beyond the LR profile.

how do you go about that...I mess with warp a little, and DXO Viewpoint does a good job at assisting with removing it...but sometimes if you are close to the subject, it still has some bent verticals...

Thank you. Yes this was for the building manager and the marketing team.

Thanks David. I left those items in the images since this is to market the building.

I bring the image into DxO Viewpoint and use the 8 point correction tool. This does a good job of straightening the horizontal lines and verticals. This works for images where I am shooting straight on. For other images, I also use the controls within DxO PhotoLab. There are control sliders for barrel and pincushion corrections. That application also imports the lens profile but I think it does a better job than LR. Then, the last option is the warp tool in the PS.

Nice work. Those mixed light shots look like a beast to correct in post but you got them down.

Carlo, wasn't sure if this was referring to my set or Travis' nice image that he posted. If mine, thank you very much.

I have the FE 35 f2.8 and really like it for its tiny size. Most times I use it, a fast aperture isn't a priority. If you do like fast lenses, you might consider the Sigma 35 f 1.4 Art lens and Metabones IV adapter. I know the adapter is expensive but just think, it will allow you to use your Canon lenses with the Sony body. Of course, if you go with something like the Sigma, small size and lightweight go out the window.

Here's one reason I like the 35/2.8.
Size/weight matter especially for a lens FL I'd rarely use but still want along.
Besides the lens size with this lens I can carry 4 filters in the space normally afforded by 1, because
of the cool 'hood'-

I figured it was on yours, you had some tricky light to work with.

Thanks...been sitting here editing all day...I grossly underestimated the time it would take to edit these images...I am usually pretty good at estimating...but the colors of some of these have been a real PITA...

Thank you. I know your pain brother! Maybe it's time to bring in some artificial lighting to help cut down the editing time. On the flipside, that's a bit more work and effort in the field managing the lighting.

On my next proposal, I am going to bump up the price a bit to compensate for extra hours spent time editing. Up next is a biplane exhibit at our airport, a renovated university conference center downtown, and 8 downtown buildings (exterior shots only thank God).

Anyone use a Peli case to store their gear at home? I’ve been thinking of getting this Peli clone - https://www.amazon.co.uk …5IOSQ&colid=2OQZAMHA73TS2 (external link) which is the same size as the Peli 1510. Currently I have my lenses soread over a few bags and in cupboards but thinking a Peli case is the way to go and then when I go out shooting I can grab an appropriate bag and load it up with the relevant gear, then when I get back load the Peli back up. The price was putting me off previously but the clone is priced well. It will also allow me to take all my gear away on campervan trips easily with the added benefit of extra protection

Eddie, sorry late in reply....Poof & I have been out in the campervan.
Camera 'luggage' has kinda progressed like my move from Canon to Sony.
I used Pelican 1510 (like Fort Knox) then to the Pelican air 1535.
A couple of months ago I discovered the Everyday Backpack 30L.
Found I could get everything from the Pelican Air into the 30L backpack and then some.
Sounds good except then it's so heavy I back in a situation without wheels and heavy so that I
don't want to carry it.
Then the progression to the Everday Backpack 20L his and hers (we both love them that much), so the 30L was sold last week at FM.
We still use one Pelican Air in the campervan but the two 20L backpacks hang up and in a position in the camper where we can swing them still attached
to the bed for item insertion or removal. The Pelican is yet another repository/library of lenses that switch out in the 20Ls as we pack for a given subject/target

When we used a 'car' and hopped from motel to motel the rolling Pelicans really helped. Now when out in the camper we're not loading/unloading (who wants to leave all that
camera kit in the vehicle when you sleep?) every night so that kinda makes sense.

We found the Everydays to be heavy. A big reason is the huge amount of padding completely surrounding the camera gear inside; so good in fact I rate it just below the Pelican in protection.
And again, the 20L's size forces me not to carry the kitchen sink.

Really the choices of 'carry' are like the 85mm, just so many good choices out there and boils down to what works for you and your environment and for us that has been a flux.

a lot better than the Canon 85 1.8. a lot sharper and no CA. Great shot and processing bro.

Vinz, you know what I shoot and an 85mm would be used once a year :(
But that doesn't stop me from wanting :)
So is this the lens in question-
https://www.bhphotovideo.com …8_fe_85mm_f_1_8_lens.html (external link)
That's affordable and the reviews give me the feeling in that it is like the FE 28/2 (just to name a random lens that fits my logic stream here)
in that it is way good for the money despite not bearing the 'G' moniker.

Now tell me when an 85mm works for my kinda stuff if ever.
