Good lighting and fine details here. Diagonal position in frame and placed in frame helps for a good composition. Background color tones works well together. Great photo, well done and composed.

Took these photos at Lake Mohegan in Fairfield, Connecticut by walking out over a bridge, standing up on the guardrail and holding my 80D up over the chain link fence - everywhere else I'd be shooting through branches or leaves.

Sure does, I was standing with one foot on the guardrail and one up on the cement, arms straight up over my head with the screen aimed down at a full 90° and just barely got over the fence and I'm 6'2".

i sold my 80d. I am switching to SL2 for its size to take with me during travel. Any one using both of them.


Canon SL2, Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 OS, Sigma 105mm OS Macro, 10-18mm STM, 55-250mm STM.

Took my best friend out to try my new flash. It was the first time using a flash and I’m very happy with the results. Some slight edits and sharpening on the portrait. The landscape photo had an HDR filter applied to a JPEG file. Hopefully I can make the RAW copy look better.
