Cool. I like the lighting. Would increase exposure a bit and maybe increase depth of field a bit, as well. Nice work.

Cheers,

As I have started taking portraits for people I have noticed that not only do I have to check their hair or skin or teeth to make sure its ready for pictures but their nose too! LOL! This guy needs a trim! :-)

This is nice and actually a lovely soft focus on her face that I like. However, I notice that it seems her knee is in focus and then that bothers me. I also love the bokeh/background...is that actually a white background just taking on the affect of the lighting setup or is that done in Post?

Sorry to have to agree ... because, overall, it's a nice shot.

Babyliss would be my brand suggestion. Very reliable trimmer ... good battery life ... not too pricey ... easy to clean ... fits easily into the average camera bag ... though no-brand nail scissors would do the job just as well, cometh the hour. ;-)a

It is. Every shot I ever take with the 135 turns out soft. It's the bane of my life. But I still like the images.

I do like the colors and the bokeh. Have you tried sharpening on post?

I dont have a 135mm.. but ive shot 85mm on crop cameras... and i couldn't get a sharp image at 160th.. not with my shake hands ..
Even an 85mm on FF i need to be very careful with shutter speed

I got a couple of Cameras and lenses ...
