I've only had the lens about 6 months. I bought it from another reputable POTN user. It is in excellent shape, and works as new. The exterior of the lens is excellent condition with no visible marks or wear. The front and rear glass are un-marred: no scratches, nicks or dings. I use it on an 80D and it performs well.

I am selling it because I have decided that f/2.8 is not fast enough in this range. I am going back to using my 28 1.8, 35IS, and 50 STM when I need aperture. I have the (most excellent) 18-135 USM for when I need a zoom.

Sale includes: lens, both Tamron caps, Tamron hood. No box or papers. I am asking (now $150), shipped and paypal'd to CONUS. Will ship to Canada for actual postage cost. I have very good feedback on POTN as a buyer/seller, and the same on E-Bay (PM for username). PM is best contact.

It was a good gateway drug of a lens. :)

My entire hobby of gear lust has temporarily been shifted into overload. Please be patient while my mind tries to get back onto the road to recovery. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause....

Agree with both of those. ^^^

Tempted to buy, but my crop is my backup and I'm hoping to have two FF bodies soon.

The only lens I missed when I left the 70D.

Bump for a great guy, selling a fantastic lens.

Thanks for all the support guys. Now, somebody buy the darn thing!

LHB, you know you'll always have a crop body. May as well have a good, fast, general purpose lens to go with it. :) :)

Eh, I'll freakin' take it.

Tom, send me your paypal. I need to get the kids showered and in bed, and then have a beer, and then have another, but I'll get it out to you tonight.

No. Please don't do that! Funds received. Lens is sold, packed, shipped, and on its way to a new home. Thank you.
