Chris and Dalibort seemed to have shot wide open on these. This would give the shallow depth of field. This is from their choice in lenses not PS 6D

This is from their choice in lenses not PS We can't see the details for Chris but Dalibort is actually stopped down a little at f/1.6 ... presumably to increase depth of field a little over what it would have been at f/1.2 (I don't think stopping down will have improved centre sharpness noticeably and edge sharpness is irrelevant in this shot).
