Took me a while to see how to get this, but it's all there.

This at Adorama; https://www.adorama.com …ml?utm_source=rflaid68073 (external link)

Add to cart, begin check out, then enter CADEAL2016 in gift/promo card window for instant $350.00 off, then another $350 off with the mail in rebate.

NICE! That's about the same price as a new 6D on sale!

So you guys think this camera is a straight to DVD special, or are these holiday savings? Very strange to have it priced so low already.

Given the apparent sluggish sales of the 6D2 (dearth of postings in this and other forums) I am not surprised at this price. $1300/$1400 for the body is about where it should have been originally priced. Looks as if the market is rendering its verdict...

The best deal I see is to just keep my 6D and save a big chunk of money.

Still no 4k video and only slightly better AF. I'm good with my 6D.

I would disagree on the AF,. there are significant improvements in the modern AF system. How one weighs that in purchase decision of course is totally subjective.

Considering the price I've been reading up on the 6d2 and most reviews say that the dynamic range at low iso's is very poor. I believe dpreview said the 80D actually scores better. I was thinking this would be a big improvement over my old 5d2 but from what I am reading it appears not.

Still a pretty amazing price for a full frame camera but it may be this cheap for a reason.

I think a lot has to do with how you use your camera. For those that place importance to features like AF performance, tilt screen, or shoot at high ISO often, the 6DII clearly is a much better camera. But for those, like me, who manually focus most of the time and very rarely push past ISO 3200 and mostly live ISO 800 or lower, the 6DII doesn't offer any improvement.
