Stirling Castel, built between 1496 and 1583 - thigh was a fortification on top of the hill long before that.

I had a dilemma when shooting this famous castle (remember Braveheart?) while visiting a well known beef farm just 3/4 mile away - but with no beasts in the fields as a picturesque foreground. Here are my best efforts but cannot decide which is best.

Still a touch of colour I see. Recent winds have stripped everything here except the oaks.
