I couldn't reconcile the FE55 between the batis 85 and FE 35 either. It sits too closely in between the focal lengths and it isn't nearly as interesting of a FOV as either. But the optical quality of that lens in such a diminutive form factor was certainly attractive.

I know the SAL 135 is amazing too (and 1.3 stops faster), but the Batis is more than a pound lighter (factoring the adapter) and it's optically insane. I've honestly thought a lot about it but can't get over the $$ considering the max aperture.
