A very annoying little fella being a big pain to the big boy. Went on for about 7 min till the big boy decided enough is enough and took off.

My BIF resume is limited, as the small birds in my area are just about impossible. It's not too often I get to see anything larger than a Pileated Woodpecker, so yesterday was a treat.

Equipment note: the 80D + 1.4xIII + 500II gave me more reach, but the 5D4 produced noticeably better photos. More clarity, sharpness, and the AF was much more adept at tracking.

What a beautiful shot! I can't seem to take motion shots very well but you did an excellent job.

Spotted this old termite mound on a tree trunk, some 12-15 metres up and a Kookaburra flew out as we passed by.:-)

Returning the next day, I managed to capture a few frames of the bird entering/exiting the re-purposed mound. I didn't hang around for too long, as the nest location is near a walking track and I didn't want to spook the birds or draw any unwelcome attention to them.

Cheers

Dennis
