Ed, you've been knocking it out of the park as of late, and this owl shot (along with the Toucan) is one of the crown jewels. Keep up the insanely great work, it's been a pleasure viewing!

I'm still striving for the perfect portrait of a Hermit Thrush. Had some great opportunities today, but it wasn't until I got home that I found that my 5D4 and 500 + 1.4 combo was juuuuuust slightly front focused, so all of the shots were soft. vmad Welp, still striving, I guess.

Blue Jays are very rare around here. I was surprised the other day to see one through my front window. There were actually 2 Blue Jays there and they had a Steller's Jay with them. They return here everyday so far. Hopefully I'll get a pic of all 3 together. This is the best I got so far through my living room window.

One of my top five fav's Mel... each morning I have 8 to 14 sitting in the tree's calling for me to put the peanuts out. One every year becomes brave enough to be quite close at times.
