The light directions between the sky and ground are off in both images.

First image the clouds are over baked and that dark blue is very unnatural in a warm sunset from the foreground.

Second image has fantastic clouds in the foreground. Like others said the shadows don't match and there aren't any cloud shadows. Out of curiosity, are the foreground clouds and background clouds from two different sources?

I like doing PS projects like this for practice as well. But I have to remind myself at what point is it no longer my photograph and instead digital art? Don't want to end up like Steve McCurry! :-D
