plantastic Senior Member More info | Jul 26, 2016 09:49 | #3 Nice! We go there often, usually once a year, in January. That looks like some serious surf for Napili Bay. It is usually pretty calm. However, that may be the difference between the winter and summer surf...?

Yeah. We typically like to visit in June, there was an above average swell that was coming in. Many "regulars" were talking about never seeing anything like it before. MyCanonPhotos

Jul 27, 2016 09:51 | #7 I have vacationed three times in Maui and always stay on Napili Bay in the condos right next to the Gazebo restaurant. In the many weeks I have spent on Napili Bay in June & July, I have never seen swells as you posted. Just amazing. Wish we had gone back this summer as my kids would have loved to play in this surf!!!

All of them are processed in post from .cr2 files, You just cant get that POP right out of the camera due to ever changing atmospherics in a .jpg file. MyCanonPhotos
