This was all the way across the lake so by the time I recovered the detail they look more like paintings. But I couldn't resist the show of affection and had to keep them.

True but mostly dominance over the younger yearling. They do this and kicking the little ones Charles if say there is food that they feel is theirs.

So true. By the end of the winter, a few of the younger deer look like they have been in knife fights.
