how long did she have to hold this pose so the water would smooth out and the ripples dissapear? or was it all done in post?

I do not remember exactly, but she kept her pose for 10-15 seconds, then went down. Perhaps a little more. The water was not processed in any way after. Captureone + small face cleaning in photoshop

I recently went back and looked at photos I had taken over the years, and never did anything with, and found a number of photos of my wife with her father who is no longer with us.
