Nice. Pushing the exposure though. I wouldn't go much more that 16-18 seconds @ 28mm. I like how you used the light pollution to your advantage to get a unique photo. The Orion Nebula is visible and if you were a bit closer, I think you could have gotten a faint view of the Flame and Horsehead Nebula as well. Good job!

Very good shot considering the D70 isn't the best camera (I had one) some good detail there.

Funny that i did shoot Orion closer with nebula but i can't manage to get many stars as this one, i feel something wrong i did, i did use good tracker and long exposures, but maybe i should keep shooting and one day i may reach higher level in astrophotography, and definitely Orion is one of main targets i will work on.
