Disappointed I couldn't find a good camera position for this interesting building in downtown Macon, GA:

In regards to Pelican cases, I have two that I use. The smaller case is a 1550. It will hold two bodies, and a couple of lenses, along with
two speedlights. I have carried it on flights without problem. I also have a 1650 that I will use to carry lights. The 1650 has wheels.
The smaller case goes with me on offshore fishing trips all the time. The cases both have provisions to add a lock or two.

Hope this helps,

110yd

This is the final image from the initial group of 5 shots the architect selected. Love the ceiling treatment in this room and the large windows.

Thanks for the feedback on the Pelican cases. I'm contemplating the Pelican Air 1535, but wondering if it's big enough for my body and lenses. (Not planning on using it for lighting gear).
Worse case, I return it and get the bigger size...

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

for those who has and or will be getting an r3 and debating on the screen protector, the r3 already has an applied screen protector on it. I'm not sure if they did it with the r2, but surely they did not with the r1 and I didnt hear any reviewers mentioning it. Sony usually does this with their phones.

Ive already purchased the screen protector but I think I will not use it. The only reason why you would want to use it is because the one sony has for purchase is a glass sheet. And or maybe you just want to put more love into protecting your screen :P

Is that def a protector I.e removeable and replaceable? And not just the actual screen

its a protecting sheet layer. as you can see the actual screen is on the bottom and the lil smaller sheet is on top. my old sony xperia z phone was like that.

i had this setup in mind when I had the r3 on order. i looked around my room and realize the 3 on the ironman figure stand and thought i could use it as prop with the 3 as the mark 3 and cut out a label that says 'sony a7r' to place on the ironman label plate. actual setup became half @$$ed. forgot to replace the label and well the backdrop isnt clean. oh well i got no time :P lazyness beats me up all the time. I wanted to use a higher aperture to get more of the product but the messy backdrop would have shown up some more turning it into a messy pic.

Testing out the a7riii tonight. Ended up using the L bracket from my a7ii. It seems to work ok, since it does not cover the battery door at all.

SR image, 64 2 Second frames...love that for rescuing the shadows, I find it really lets you sculpt some soft light...the entire desert floor was almost black in the RAW file.

Super clean Alfredo. Nice work.

I attended UTSA back in 2003. That campus has really come a long way.
