Yes but what allows the software to do that? He's basically used a bunch of coloured gels so the software can easily alter the pictures as shown, it's not a joke but it's not a new idea either and it has some very obvious downsides (such as being B&W etc).

I wouldn't have a problem with it if not for the snake oil pitch in the video trying to make it look magical.

Actually, the b&w is the only thing I liked about them.

Pretty sure LR, PS, and any other similar program you already own can do monochrome conversions.
