Just think how much easier it will be when you can share batteries with your a9 ![]() that would be nice...to give an idea how much better those batteries are...I charged both of my a9 batteries before the JTNP trip...I used the a9 for a bunch of little walk around stuff...then shot some family stuff when I got home, then did a bunch of video this weekend and then a photo session this weekend...all on one battery, that never got recharged until last night...those new batteries are awesome. We've already scheduled a boat to get within striking distance. I have sandhills within 3.5 hours right near Tombstone AZ. But really ONLY sandhills. I understand Bosque has 4-5 varieties...... The Tombstone site is my backup if I dont go to NM it is a great boondock place too!! "Vision is the art of seeing that which is invisible"

It's also great for keeping dust out. thanks for your feedback David. really am looking at one, just trying to figure out which size I want. I think I might get the 80L just in case. I'm sure I can fit what I have including the 70-200 in the smaller one but I like the options of having more.

Of course it was bright clear skies when there but another thing about aging, when the weather is crap I'm staying in more and more ![]() thanks for sharing. I was considering whether or not I want the extender for when more reach is needed. Price for it is just way to much but its still something to think about.
