I got lucky yesterday during downtime in the middle of the family photo shoot with this beautiful egret (wife uses a local pro when I need to be in pics:).

Just registered the FE24-105g with State Farm. I can dance on it now if I want to :)
Monsoon outside so couple of pics of my gear wall. Tack sharp at 105, OK sharp in the corners
at 24...looking at jpgs with the cook in the camera processing.
Surprise it feels heavier than the 12-24 but overall I really like the look of this series Sony lenses
including the 70-300G.

got some planning to do, just a proof on concept shot, with the moon way too low, hence washed out... Gotta get closer to plane and not shoot while it's too hot or during the night.

i don't know where is mine. Amazon said it should arrive tomorrow but if you look at the progress details, it's not ship yet. no email, no tracking numbers.

Honestly the Sigma is so good that if the AF can get just a little bit better it would be really hard to justify a Sony version that is significantly more expensive.

yah the 135 is a special lens for portrait that won't require highspeed focusing so i might go your route Carlo.

For now, if I wanted to go to a 135mm lens, I think I'd choose the Canon EF 135mm f2 lens.
