For now, if I wanted to go to a 135mm lens, I think I'd choose the Canon EF 135mm f2 lens.

https://www.bhphotovideo.com …hoto_EF_135mm_f_2_0L.html (external link)

I have the Metabones IV adapter I'd use with it of course.

Thanks Gene, yep, had the EOS 135mm, memory says it was slooooooooooooow to focus but critically sharp.
I just added the 85/1.8 couple weeks ago...IF I ever do portrait it will have to do.

I got the Sigma new for $100 more than the canon so it was hard to pass up.

I picked up a used copy of the Rokinon 135 about a week ago. Full manual but, focus peaking is your friend for sure. Plenty sharp but lacks a bit of contrast. Nothing that can't be boosted in post.

Mickey put up a whole family portrait. I think I've seen every one but not together.

I'm not expecting the photographer to have our pics done for several days, so I may as well pick one with some Sony-related nostalgia.

This one was taken almost exactly two years ago with my then-new a6000/16-50 kit. It was after seeing this pic, and comparing it with other shots from this session taken with the 6D/50A, that I knew I was making the right choice switching to Sony. To be blunt, the pics from the a6000 that day were at least as good as my Canon FF combo. This particular picture isn't the sharpest, or the best, but I handed the a6000 to my SIL and asked her to do her best. Pretty sure we used it as for a Christmas Card.
