It's just about done, and I want to get a nice wide shot of it for our Intranet Face page. It has a huge saltwater aquarium so I'm excited to get some snaps! P.S. as a Virgo, and someone who has a touch of OCD, I really appreciate the symmetry of your interior shots! Haha thank you. I’m the same way. I’m looking forward to seeing your shots. MedicineMan4040 wrote in post #18512242 Alfredo, for a 'typical' business world/architectural/advertisement type this shot isn't boring at all! I think its the huge perspective and the leading lines plus the alternating colors of the chairs that pull me and draw me to the other wall. Normally I wouldn't look at verticals in walls but you people here in this thread have taught me to look for things like that in architectural images! and all these look as they should to my eye....but remember in what I shoot there are no straight lines ![]() I assume this is with the 16-35GM, just curious. Thank you very much. Love hearing feedback like this. Yep I used the FE 16-35 GM. It’s my primary lens now for these work assignments. I’m about ready for a break from these architecture assignments. I would love to shoot some landscapes or some long exposure black and white images. - Alfredo -

At work I won't even let the techs have the radio on, my FEAR of hearing the McCartney Christmas song! But watching your son and the others members of the band took me back to playing in several bands myself and I played a double B-Flat bass ha! I do find that the Batis 18 is just a tad bit sharper, especially in the corners than the GM lens so you'll be fine with the prime from an IQ standpoint. I think they both render about the same. Loxia 21 still comes out ahead there. --------------- This isn't 100% symmetrical given that the arrangement of the chairs in this conference room but I still liked the painting in the center, the ceiling design, and the wood panels. I also like how the FE 16-35 GM gives just a hint of sun stars for the light sources, not enough to be distracting but enough to provide some interest. ![]() Higher Resolution: https://www.flickr.com …edomoraphotography/p04C2b Excellent work Alfredo! gregr2 Goldmember More info Post edited over 5 years ago by gregr2. | Thanks and thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I took that with my A6500 and the kit lens at ISO 4000 on one of our last nights in Budapest. The metal print from Adoramapix looks phenomenal on our living room wall, some things just look good on metal and this is one of them. The dots you see above the building are birds flying about. I lightened them a bit in the photo so they would be visible in the print as that is something my wife fell in love with and wanted to make sure she could see them in the print. Flickr
