You have no reason to doubt. The quality of your work is top shelf. I agree, however that the general quality here is amazing. One of my first observations with digital photography was that the learning curve is very rapid. The instant feedback that the photographer gets facilitates learning. Errors are quickly corrected, and improvement is almost instantaneous. No need to wait to develop negatives and enlarge prints. Plus, digital "film" is cheap!! Add to that the learning that occurs looking at the work of others on this forum and others is a powerful tool.

The one thing I feel lacking on this forum is the lack of constructive criticism. I understand this, as nobody wishes to hurt other people's feelings, but so much more could be learned by critiques from other photographers. Unfortunately I have found many to be sensitive to honest constructive criticism.

I don't constructively criticise much, not because I don't want to hurt feelings but because I don't think I have the expertise to know whether my feelings about a picture are valid in terms of the photographic canon. I learn a lot here though and like to read others' criticisms.

I have found that the ones who would most benefit from constructive criticism are the least likely to want to hear it!!!

Tongue firmly in cheek......

Indeed. The critiquer will often be attacked for his/her comments.

I think the quality of Everyones photos on here have been Superb, the combination of technique, light, subject and a little slice of luck, have really stood out.

I feel honestly Everyone should "pat themselves on the back"

Thank you All.:-)
